The from 1938 dating bridge over the Nieuwe Vaart canal in the village of Terwispel near Gorredijk, in the Dutch province of Friesland, was replaced by an exact replica.
De Boer Snijbedrijf cut the two steel vertical supports, with the cutouts, and the counterbalance for this new bridge to size, using S355 J2+N sheet steel with 3.1 certificate, including the welding edges and flashing.
