For the repair to the severely damaged bow of the tanker, De Boer Snijbedrijf cut the steel to size (including the fusion edges) and certified in accordance with 3.2 Lloyds Register.
De Boer Staal supplied 5800 kg of EH36 shipbuilding plate, thickness 20 mm. This steel with fusion edges was cut to size by De Boer Snijbedrijf using their 3D Koike plasma cutter. Because De Boer Snijbedrijf is authorised to recondition materials with 3.1 and 3.2 certification under the terms of EN 10204, it was able to provide the necessary stamp.
