ROTO acquires PRESTIA Group
October 2021 - We are very pleased to announce that ROTO, headquartered in the Netherlands, has acquired 100% of the shares of PRESTIA Group with effect from 5 October 2021. PRESTIA Group is based in France and fits the ROTO strategy perfectly, not only in terms of its activities but also in terms of its geographical location.
PRESTIA Group specialises in the preservation of steel, stainless steel and aluminium through hot-dip galvanising, centrifuge galvanising, thermal zinc spraying, wet painting and powder coating. PRESTIA Group employs about 450 employees, runs twelve manufacturing plants and operates the largest zinc bath in France.
PRESTIA Group complements the existing ROTO business portfolio of De Boer Staal, Staco, Rotocoat and Rezinal. PRESTIA Group is especially complementary to Rotocoat, which operates the same surface treatment activities and the longest zinc bath in the Netherlands.
We are very enthusiastic about this reinforcement. It will be beneficial to both Rotocoat and PRESTIA Group to share best practices and tailor their services even better to the needs of their (future) customers. By collaborating they can make their businesses more sustainable and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
