December 2020 - On the roof of the large hall (almost 11,000 m2) in Uitgeest, Kamplacon roof and wall constructions have started with the installation of no fewer than 3,240 solar panels. This job is expected to be completed by mid-February.
Not only do the solar panels generate annually approximately 1 million kWh hours of green electricity but they also ensure an annual reduction of approximately 530 tons of CO2 emissions.
This important step towards more sustainable business operations are in line with the ambitions of De Boer Staal and De Boer Snijbedrijf to contribute to the energy transition.
